Postdoc Vestibular Synaptic Physiology: A NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available to study exocytosis from Type I and Type II vestibular hair cells. The study seeks to determine the synpatic transfer function between hair cells and afferent fibers. Candidates with a PhD or MD degree and with a strong background in electrophysiology or synaptic transmission are encouraged to apply. Los Angeles offers a stimulating multicultural environment and UCLA provides a rich mixture of neuroscientific research.
