Dear Neurobiology Faculty,

I am pleased to inform you that the Department has set up a new program to support the publication of necessary color figures in manuscripts. Up to 5 awards, not exceeding $2000 each, will be made based on appropriate justification. To apply for this support, please send a letter to me indicating:

Title and authors of the publication.

Grant support for the publication

Date of acceptance and justification for necessary color figures not supported by the journal.

Cost of the color figures

An explanation of the importance of the publication with regard to submitted or planned grant applications.

Please note that this program is primarily destined to support publications form Faculty holding a primary appointment in Neurobiology and supported by existing or planned grant applications administered by the Department of Neurobiology. Requests by Faculty holding a secondary appointment will be considered under exceptional circumstances.
